Once a year (on those years where there’s a deserving candidate) the Trial Lawyers of B.C. awards a lawyer the Bar Award for “leadership, courage, and dedication” in the practice of law. For 2007, Faith was the recipient.
On behalf of Margaret Birrell and the Coalition for People with Disabilities, Jane Dyson—as well as notable trial lawyer Mike Maryn—introduced Faith.
TLABC President Rose Keith presented Faith with the certificate detailing the award.
Faith thanked the association, and talked about how she sees the law developing in BC and where it has come from: the wild and woolly days when she was often the only female lawyer at the table.
